What’s the usual method of returning a product to an online store?

Return and exchange of items are based on the seller's terms and conditions.

For most cases, it would involve the following steps:

  1. Buyer needs to contact and clarify the reason for returning item.
  2. Buyer needs to ship back the items to seller.
  3. Seller reimburses the buyer by sending an exchange or offering store credit or offering a refund.

However, this does not apply to all sellers. You need to refer back to the seller on whether you are allowed to return the purchased items.
